The WNBA isn't just for sharp bettors any longer. Sportsbooks used to really only take sharp action on the top women's basketball league in the world, but now, the betting public is really starting to get into it. The WNBA continues to grow and hasn't had many teams ultimately go by the wayside. The league is 12 teams large and is likely to continue to increase in size as the game becomes more and more popular.

Atlanta Dream

The Dream reached the WNBA Finals in just their third season, but they have yet to get over the top and ultimately finish the job of bringing a title to Atlanta.

Chicago Sky

The Sky endured seven straight losing seasons before finally getting into the WNBA playoffs for the first time in 2013. Drafting Elena Delle Donne changed the course of the franchise, but trading her in 2017 brought Chicago back towards the bottom of the WNBA.

Connecticut Sun

From 2007 through 2017, the Sun have won just one playoff series. That said, with Curt Miller leading the way on the bench, Connecticut had a tremendous season in 2017. Another step forward in 2018 seems logical.

Dallas Wings

The Wings haven't won a championship or a conference title since 2008, but the run they went on from '06 through '08 with three WNBA Finals appearances and two WNBA championships is one of the best in league history.

Indiana Fever

Indianapolis loves its women's basketball, and that gives the Fever one of the best home court advantages in the league. Still, the memories of a 2012 championship seem like forever ago after a 9-25 2017 campaign.

Las Vegas Stars

There aren't many markets that are going to work with WNBA franchises that don't have NBA teams, but Las Vegas is trying it in 2018 after moving from San Antonio.

Los Angeles Sparks

The Sparks have consistently been amongst the best team in the WNBA, and there is no debating the fact that they have the best history in this league. From Lisa Lesley to Candace Parker, the Sparks seemingly always have a superstar on their roster to build around.

Minnesota Lynx

The Lynx have reached the WNBA Finals in six of their last seven seasons, and they've been to the conference finals in every season in that stretch. What's going to slow this team down? Probably not much in the next several seasons.

New York Liberty

Of the original bluebloods of the WNBA, the Liberty have always been highly regarded playing at Madison Square Garden. Their results on the court haven't matched the hype, but this will always be a destination for WNBA free agents to play.

Phoenix Mercury

It's been a while since the Mercury have been at the top of the WNBA, but they've been slowly moving in the right direction, capped by a conference finals appearance in 2017.

Seattle Storm

It's hard to believe that the Storm haven't won a playoff series since winning the WNBA title in 2010. At least the team has been in the postseason for consecutive seasons.

Washington Mystics

The Mystics made the highest profile acquisition in WNBA history when they traded for Elena Delle Donne before the 2017 season. Ted Leonsis is willing to do anything he can to bring a championship to D.C. in any sport.
